This policy outlines the copyright of Visual Works uploaded to 23px as well as the consent of Models featured in such works.

The purpose is to protect the rights of Photographers/Creators as the original authors, ensure that the use of a Model’s image is based on valid consent, and provide clarity to all users regarding the limitations of use, particularly for commercial purposes.

Copyright of Visual Works

1. Copyright of Visual Works remains with the Photographer or Creator who uploads the work.
2. By uploading a work, the Photographer/Creator grants 23px a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to display, distribute, and promote the work in accordance with applicable policies.
3. The license remains valid while the work is displayed on the Website and terminates once the work is removed.
4. General Users are not permitted to use works for commercial purposes, redistribution, or unlawful activities without written permission from the copyright owner.
5. AI-generated Visual Works must ensure they do not infringe copyright, privacy, or depict real individuals without Model consent.
6. Visual Works that infringe third-party copyrights or are used for illegal purposes will be removed from the Website.

Model Release

This policy applies only to Visual Works featuring real individuals.

1. Models must provide explicit consent, either written or verbal, for the use and publication of works featuring them.
2. Model consent is considered explicit and serves as the legal basis for the use of the work.
3. Model consent cannot be unilaterally withdrawn after publication, except through the official removal mechanism established by 23px.
4. Models are not entitled to pursue further legal claims against 23px or any associated parties for works already approved.
5. In the event of disputes or conflicts, resolution shall be carried out through dialogue and constructive communication.
6. By granting consent, Models acknowledge that works are published only on a limited basis in accordance with 23px policies.

Commercial Use by Third Parties

1. Any party wishing to use Visual Works for commercial purposes must obtain written permission from the Photographer/Creator as the copyright owner.
2. If the Visual Work features real individuals, commercial use also requires explicit consent from the Model.
3. 23px does not grant direct commercial licenses to third parties, except as specifically arranged through separate agreements.

Policy Enforcement

1. 23px reserves the right to remove works that infringe copyright, lack valid Model consent, or are used for illegal purposes.
2. Removal of works shall be considered final resolution of disputes related to copyright or Model rights.
3. 23px reserves the right to suspend accounts or access of users who repeatedly violate this policy.

Reporting Violations

If you believe a work infringes copyright or Model rights, please submit a report via email: hello@23px.com. 23px will review the report and take appropriate action, including removal of the work.
